Hello!

My name is Llia Bosso! I am currently a flight student working on my instrument rating at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I want Propeller Pointers to be a place where flight students and aspiring pilots can come to find a solution. I started quite young and didn’t have anyone I could relate to learning with me, so sometimes my training would feel isolated. The industry is changing, Propellor Pointers is here to make sure that you're in the right mindset to keep up.

My Story

Contrary to what anyone might think, my original interests lied in the weather. Obviously, weather is a very important part of safe flying, I however didn't really notice piloting at the beginning. When I did, it felt very fast. Sort of like the passion wasn't there, but then it was and it changed my life. So, I took an intro flight out of David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport with American Flyers in August of 2022. I was 16 when I made this choice, so balancing high school, my social life, and my new found interest was a challenge. In July of 2023 I applied for the aeronautical science (flight training) major at Embry-Riddle, and was accepted in October of that same year. Yay me! My private pilot training had to be spaced out because if the other things on my plate. I obtained my private pilot license in March of 2024. I am now working on my instrument rating with ERAU. After this, I plan to obtain my commercial pilot certificate, and multi-engine rating. Then become a certified flight instructor, then certified flight instructor for instrument. I hope that Propellor Pointers helps you wherever you are, and I wish you the absolute best in your training. Don't forget, we're doing this together!
